Mom confronts carjacker
When accused carjacker Artrai Alexander slammed into a slew of vehicles waiting at a stoplight in a dedicated school zone, one mom was not going to let him get away. Jessica Liesmann was with her boyfriend and 13-year-old son when the accident occurred. She quickly sprung out of the vehicle, confronted Alexander and then went mama bear on him as he attempted to get away.
After she punched him a few times, her boyfriend helped restrain him until the police caught up and could take him away. You can see Alexander trying to put his hands up, probably pleading for mercy as the angry mother worked to take him down.
Liesmann later said that she didn't even think about what she was doing as she popped out and over to the jerk who slammed into her van. She was worried about her son who was with her, and you do not want to mess with someone's child, as Alexander learned the hard way.
She also shared that the couple had lost their 4-year-old son to epilepsy just a few short months ago, which she says triggered a strong response when she felt her 13-year-old was in danger. He was taken to the hospital to get checked out but he was found to be in good shape and was released.
I'm sure Alexander wasn't having the greatest day anyway when he decided to carjack someone and take off in their car, and when he approached the stoplight, he realized he had two choices: Stop and surrender, or try to blast through the waiting vehicles like a train through snow.

When his decision didn't work out all that great for him, he was definitely hoping to get out of there once his plan failed, but this woman made sure that didn't happen. He might have even been glad to be taken into custody after facing this amazing mama bear.
