Log in to any of your social media accounts, and you'll see that Crawford's real body photo has gone viral. It's almost guaranteed that your mom friends are sharing it on Facebook, with a strong opinion one way or the other.
What makes this photo so polarizing? As is the law of the internet, when a picture goes viral, people have something to say about it. But what's so interesting about Crawford's leaked pic is that the peanut gallery is split into three different responses — ranging from uplifting to horrifying.

Reaction 1: Bravo
There's still hope for the world yet. The majority of social media responses called Crawford "brave" and "inspirational" for showing what a real mom's body looks like. Fans said that Crawford's raw beauty shot was uplifting for women of all ages.
Letsseeshallwe of Reddit explained, "It's refreshing to see someone who is known for perfection and beauty to also be comfortable with showing their flaws. Makes her more human. Makes me feel slightly less insecure about not being photoshopped. I wish the industry was more honest in general."

Reaction 2: Gross
The trolls of the internet certainly didn't keep silent as Crawford's unretouched image circulated. Facebook commenter Dan Casio said, "I don't get how an old woman's craggly and wrinkly body is supposed to make young women feel good about themselves. This is just a desperate attempt for her to become relevant again."
Other cruel Facebook commenters like Jamie Ruth didn't mince words: "She's hideous."

Reaction 3: Not good enough
And here's the part where Crawford just can't catch a break from her unrelenting critics. Facebook commenter Tricia Kidd Damico simply wasn't impressed. She said, "What's 'courageous' about her pic? She should have done it years ago."
Deb Lytle of Facebook agreed — Crawford could've tried harder, "Let's see her without makeup, no enhanced lighting, and no airbrushing. That's what's real for we 'aging' ladies."

Crawford has not yet made a public statement and isn't thought to be responsible for the leak. Before the whole debacle, Crawford told Marie Claire at last week's premiere of Hospital in the Sky, her new documentary covering her work with Peru's Orbis International Flying Eye Hospital, "I really think — at any age — it's learning to be comfortable in your own skin… If women would treat themselves with the same kind of love they give to their friends, that would be such a great gift we could give ourselves."
As a fellow mother of two, I can confirm that Crawford's message is exactly what every struggling mom needs to hear on her worst day. Marie Claire backed her up with a classy response to the unexpected leaked image, "It is real, it is honest, and it is gorgeous."
To Crawford's haters, I say: Make up your mind because you can't have it both ways. You're upset that magazines perpetuate photoshopped, unrealistic standards of beauty, yet you're the first to complain when a real mom body is leaked. If you don't appreciate this picture, you're part of the problem.
