Denise Sumpter, a U.K. mom, still breastfeeds her daughter, 6-year-old Belle. I had no interest in breastfeeding my own kids for that long. I enjoyed nursing when I did it, but I was also pretty excited when they decided to self-wean. I got my boobs back, and no longer had to walk around with a shirt stained and wet because I had forgotten to stuff my bra with nursing pads. I love breastfeeding, and I love breastfeeding moms. But I also love formula feeding moms and as far as I'm concerned, as long as you aren't feeding your 6-year-old black tar heroin or my candy, then I don't care how other parents feed their kids. It's so boring! And I have so many other things to get upset about! Besides serious issues in the world, like war, world hunger, rape, murder, terrorism, gun violence, sexism, racism — I also have many other things I can get upset by other than how some woman in the U.K. who I will never meet feeds her kid. Here are some of them. If you find yourself giving one moment of care to a mom nursing her kid, feel free to think about these instead.
1. I never know what to make for dinner.

Ugh, this is the worst. Why am I the only person in my house who ever decides what to make for dinner? Who cares what some 6-year-old is eating when I have my own people to plan and shop and cook meals for?
2. Stink bugs keep getting in my windows.

I hate winter, because this means those stupid, terrifying stink bugs hate the cold and sneak into my house through tiny window cracks and are disgusting and awful.
3. Sherlock won't be on again until January of 2016.

And he probably wants to be petted and no one is petting him and that is something to get upset about!
5. My laundry won't wash itself.

So in conclusion, yeah, a mom choosing to breastfeed a kid that old is against the norm and not something a lot of us have any interest in doing, but considering it doesn't affect our lives at all and we have much better things to concern ourselves with, the only reasonable thing to do is:
