Supplies:
- Styrofoam wreath form
- Brown yarn
- Assorted colors of felt
- Sheet of white rigid felt
- Scissors
- Hot glue or craft glue
Directions:
1. Wrap the wreath form
Wrap the brown yarn around the styrofoam wreath form until the wreath form is completely covered. Use glue every few inches to secure the yarn in place and keep it from unraveling.
2. Cut feathers
Cut out feathers from the craft felt. The feathers can be of varying sizes and shapes and don't have to be perfect.
3. Fold feathers
Give the feathers some dimension by folding and gluing the bottom of the feathers together. This will also help them stand up once they are on the wreath.
4. Glue feathers to wreath
Start gluing the feathers to the wreath.
5. Add more feathers
Keep adding feathers, layering them on top of each other, until you have filled approximately one-third of the wreath form with feathers.
6. Add smaller feathers
Cut out several smaller feathers from the felt and glue them at the base of the larger feathers.
7. Make a turkey face
Make a face for the turkey out of felt. Cut out the white part of the eyes from the rigid felt so that they can stand out on the wreath form.
8. Add feet
Cut out two feet for the turkey and glue them to the back of the wreath form at the bottom of the wreath.
9. Hang and enjoy
Once your glue is dry your Thanksgiving turkey wreath is ready to hang.
