mo'ne davis sports
Move over, Publix Thanksgiving commercials and every animal commercial Sarah McLachlan has ever been featured on. There's a new tearjerker in town. This time you'll cry weepy tears of joy for Mo'ne Davis, the 13-year-old Little League baseball superstar.
Davis has demonstrated that throwing like a girl and playing sports like a girl mean being the first Little League player to ever grace the cover of Sports Illustrated. It means pitching a shutout in the Little League World Series. It means embracing sports with all her heart, because she's what she loves to do. She's a natural-born champion.
I can't wait to watch Davis' career continue to blossom. As a sports fan, it warms my heart to see women and girls involved in sports of all kinds.
Thank you for throwing #likeagirl, Mo'ne.
