Many celebrity moms love sharing their most tender bonding moments on Instagram and Twitter — and that includes breastfeeding. In fact, many celebrities have turned into breastfeeding advocates. Salma Hayek was one of the first outspoken breastfeeding advocates (before social media was popular), when she breastfed a hungry baby in Africa after she had her daughter. Check out more celebrity moms who love sharing breastfeeding selfies and snapshots on social media.
Jaime King
Hart of Dixie star Jaime King shared on Instagram this picture of her breastfeeding her 8-month-old son James, as her dog naps behind her. King not only wanted to share a sweet moment with her son, but also to make a point about breastfeeding.

King is one of many celebrity moms who have helped the "breastfeeding selfie" gain momentum.

Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr announced the birth of her son Flynn with actor Orlando Bloom by sharing this sweet breastfeeding photo on Twitter. In the twitpic, she captioned the photo,
"On the 6th of January I gave birth to our beautiful little son Flynn. We cherish him. He weighed 9lb 12 ounces (a very healthy and big baby boy). I gave birth to him naturally; without drugs or painkillers and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him," she wrote. "Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts and comments. I haven’t had a lot of time to read many comments or to respond, but please know I will when I do get a chance. The attached picture is one that Orlando took of us. Much love Miranda and Orlando."

Gisele Bundchen
Model Gisele Bundchen revealed the secret to always being camera ready with a breastfeeding baby in tow — a glam squad!
"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready," Gisele Bundchen captioned the Instagram photo, in which she is breastfeeding her daughter Vivian.
Bundchen is an outspoken breastfeeding advocate who actually alienated some moms when she told Harper's Bazaar that she thinks there should be a breastfeeding law.
"I think breastfeeding really helped me keep my figure. Some people here (in the US) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'" she told the magazine. "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

Teresa Palmer
Warm Bodies actress Theresa Palmer shared this collage on her Instagram of her bonding and breastfeeding her son, Bodhi Rain Palmer
"I love being a Mum. I love every part of it. I love the way I see myself differently now, as a Mother. My hands look different for they are soothing when I touch him, the crook of my elbow now is for his head to rest and my body feeds him whenever he needs," Palmer captioned the photo. "Bodhi started smiling this week, when I look him in the eye and I say "ooh" he erupts in to a toothless grin and squeal. Just this simple word fills him with such joy. I find a lesson in that, in fact I find lessons in every moment with him. Beauty in simplicity I've learnt. We over complicate everything, self inflicted pain. I didn't realize until now that there was another way. I love my new life. @likemark."
Bodhi is the first child for the actress and her husband, actor Mark Webber. She revealed the meaning of her son's name on Twitter, writing, "Bodhi means 'Enlightened One,' Rain means 'Abundant Blessings From Above,' and we chose Palmer as his last name as Mark's son Isaac didn't take his dad's name either."
