Supplies:
- 2 sheets of colored felt
- 1 sheet of white felt
- Scissors
- Black puffy paint
- Embroidery floss, yarn or thread
- Needle
- Stuffing
- Craft glue
Directions:
Cut out tooth shape
Draw a tooth shape on a piece of white felt, then cut it out.
Decorate the tooth
Use the puffy paint to make a face on the tooth-shaped felt, then set it aside to dry.
Cut out 2 squares
Cut out 2 squares from the colored felt. Mine were about 6 inches across.
Sew the squares together
Lay the 2 squares on top of each other and start sewing around the edges. Younger kids can use a plastic yarn needle for safety.
Fill with stuffing
Before you finish sewing around the edges of the pillow, leave a 3-inch opening and fill the pillow with stuffing. Once the pillow is stuffed, finish stitching around the edges.
Glue on the tooth
Run a line of fabric glue along the sides and bottom on the back of the felt tooth. Don't put any glue along the top edge of the tooth.
Ready for the tooth fairy
Flip the tooth over and glue it to the center of the pillow. Once the glue is dry it will form the pocket where you slide your child's tooth for the tooth fairy to discover.
