Easter egg baskets
Before starting the Easter egg hunt, all the children can make baskets to collect their eggs. You can reuse pint-sized berry baskets, empty egg cartons, plastic pails and other containers you might find around the house to create the baskets. Supply the kids with ribbon or strips of colored paper to weave through the berry baskets or just give them markers, glitter, stickers and other supplies to decorate with. You can create handles with pipe cleaners and place a small amount of artificial Easter grass or shredded newspaper to cushion your eggs.

Bunny visors
Kids will love to celebrate Easter by making bunny visors. With a visor, fun foam and a few other essentials, they'll be hippity-hopping around the yard in no time.
What you'll need:
- white plastic or fabric visor
- fun foam
- scissors
- Elmer's glue
- googly eyes
- 2 white pom poms
- felt
What you'll do:
- Trace around the visor onto the white fun foam. Use the scissors to cut out the pattern.
- Attach the foam piece to the top of the visor using glue.
- Cut bunny ears out of white fun foam and then slightly smaller pieces of the same shape out of the pink foam. Adhere the pink pieces to the white ones to create the bunny ears. Glue the ears to the inside of the visor.
- Glue the white pom poms to the front of the visor to create the bunny cheeks. Adhere the googly eyes in the top center of the visor.
- Cut a round nose and tongue shape from pink felt, and glue into place. Cut two small rectangles out of the white felt to create the bunny teeth, and glue them into place as well. Allow all the glue to dry before wearing.
Honey bunny bookmarks
Adapted from the The Martha Stewart Show, these bunny bookmarks are an easy craft adults and kids will love to make.
What you'll need:
- bunny bookmark template
- thick paper
- self-sealing laminating sheets
- white and pink chenille pipe cleaners
- scissors
- wire clippers
- hole punch
- photo of child
- glue
What you'll do:
- Print out the bookmark template onto thick paper.
- Use the laminating sheets to laminate both sides of the paper, then cut out the bookmark with scissors.
- Wrap the chenille stems around the arms, ears and head of the bunny.
- Parents should assist children to clip the ends with wire clippers and tuck in ends when finished.
- Punch an inch-and-a-half hole in the thick paper left over from your cutout to create a disk for the head.
- With the hole punch, cut out a picture of your child the same size as the disk, then glue the back of the photo to the disk.
- Apply glue along the edge of disk, and attach it to the body to complete your bunny bookmark.
